The groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of the historic Belluschi House was held on the Marylhurst campus September 11, 2012.
The Marylhurst Humanitarian Award honors an individual or group whose work advances human rights and reinforces the dignity and worth of all human beings. The recipient has practiced and promoted compassion through courage in the face of opposition, guided by the principles of justice, equality and a vision for a humane world. The Marylhurst Humanitarian Award recognizes the recipient's humble devotion to a higher ideal.
