US News & World Report Ranks Marylhurst University 'Best Value'

U.S. News and World Report 2003 ranks Marylhurst University "a great school at a great price" and one of only 15 schools in the 15 western states to receive this designation for academic quality in comparison to the net cost of attendance.

The Western Region also includes the large states of Texas and California. Marylhurst's 2001-2002 tuition was $9,760 as opposed to University of Portland at $17,006 and Pacific University at $14,744, the only other Oregon schools to achieve this distinction.

Marylhurst also earned a #1 position for more classes under 20 students and a #1 ranking in student to faculty ratio, distinguishing it from all universities in the top two tiers of the Best Universities — Master's Western Region category.
