Marylhurst University has elected Diana Pierce Knox and Richard C. Alexander to its Board of Trustees for a three-year term.
Diana Pierce Knox is the senior vice president of new product development for VISA U.S.A. She joined the company in 1998 and has held executive positions in smart card products and Visa cash sales. Prior, she was with U.S. Bancorp, Western Enertech and Crocker National Bank. Knox earned a BA in French at Marylhurst University and a MBA at Northwestern University.
Richard C. Alexander founded Viking Industries, which grew to nearly 1000 employees under his leadership. Viking Industries was one of the West's leading manufacturers of windows and doors when it was sold in 1998 to Pella Corporation. He presently conducts business as Alexander Investment Co., LLC, and is an active member in the community, serving on numerous boards including the National Center for Disaster Decision Making, Capital Pacific Bank and Innovation Partners.
Marylhurst is located 10 minutes south of Portland on Highway 43.
