David Oliver Relin, co-author of the best-selling book "Three Cups of Tea," will visit Marylhurst University in October to discuss hunger in America and how it is sweeping over millions of people throughout the nation who face food insecurity. Relin has spent years reporting on the hunger crisis at home, as well as writing about the impact of poverty throughout the developing world. He will present portraits of some of the 17 million American children who go to bed each night without enough food to eat, discuss root causes that lead to the hunger crisis and feature individuals who have come up with innovative solutions to fight hunger and hopelessness in America and around the world.
