Lana Veenker to Share Insights on Oregon's Film Industry
Film and television casting director Lana Veenker will give an inspiring talk on shifting a career from Hollywood to Oregon and beyond at a brunch hosted by Marylhurst University on Sunday, October 20, 2013. She will provide insights from her 25 years of experience in casting, explore how Oregon became a hotspot for film and television production, and discuss career prospects in media and advertising.
Veenker is founder and president of the premier location casting company in the Northwest, Cast Iron Studios. She has worked with Hollywood's top producers, actors and directors on film and television projects such as such as Twilight, NBC's Grimm and TNT's Leverage.
