Paul Sutinen, director of art programs, will join local artists, critics and scholars for a discussion on Clement Greenberg's Avant-Garde and Kitsch at the Blackfish Gallery on April 19, 2014.
Storyteller Will Hornyak, communication studies faculty, gives performances in which he brings to life one of Ireland's most beloved folk heroes, Finn Mac Cool.
"He made magic with words and mayhem with weapons and lived by the old code: Never give a sword to a man who can't dance," says Hornyak.
Will teaches Storytelling in Professional Communication at Marylhurst and performs throughout the Northwest.
