Catherine Al-Meten Publishes Poetry

Catherine Al-Meten, graduate of the MA in Interdisciplinary Studies program, published a compilation of poetry written over a period of 30 years.

Shadows: A Collection of Poetry addresses the poet's search for healing, meaning and beauty in the relationships and life lived in the shadows of war.

Reviewer Lisa Ackerman writes:

Catherine Al-Meten's Shadows: A Collection of Poetry is an intense and beautiful poetic documentation of her own personal journey through many seasons spent in various locations around the U.S. She captures every emotional state, holds it for a while, owning it, then releasing it into the world, in a most open and generous manner.

The book is available on Amazon.com and through Al-Meten's press, Whales & Nightengales Press.
