First Opera Staged at Marylhurst in 50 Years

Marylhurst University's music department will present Gilbert and Sullivan's comic opera HMS Pinafore on June 7 and 9, 2013.

Renowned Gilbert and Sullivan expert Alistair Donkin is flying in from England to direct the production, which will feature the Marylhurst Chorale and Choral Union, student soloists, and a set design by Marylhurst's interior design program.
