Ric Stephens Receives Leadership Award

Ric Stephens, faculty member in the School of Business, received a leadership award from the American Planning Association's Oregon Chapter in May 2013.

Each year, the association honors outstanding efforts in planning and planning leadership.  Stephens was recognized with the 2013 Distinguished Leadership by a Community Planner award.

The Oregon Chapter of the American Planning Association promotes the art and science of planning, helps planners in professional development, advances the practice of planning, protects the legacy of Oregon's natural environment, promotes sustainable development objectives through comprehensive planning for economic development, social and environmental objectives, fosters social and environmental equity, and advocates for every citizen's opportunity to participate.
