Susan E. Marcus Speaks at Female Execs Event

Dr. Susan E. Marcus, interim chair, MBA in Health Care Management, will speak at a Portland Female Executives event at The Governor Hotel on June 18, 2013.

Marcus' talk is entitled Making the Most of the Life Cycle of You. Through stories, humor and some concrete examples of results, she shares insight into a "life cycle" that has been anything but traditional, with plenty of barriers, yet full of opportunity and achievement.

Susan E. Marcus, Ph.D. has more than 20 years of experience in executive level management, operations and strategic business development for public, private and non-profit organizations in several industry sectors including retail, finance and higher education. She has launched several businesses and most recently developed a venue to provide low-cost, supportive space for first-time entrepreneurs. She joined Marylhurst in 2009 as part of the course design team for the MBA in Sustainable Business program. Currently, she serves as interim chair for the new MBA in Health Care Management.

Portland Female Executives is a premier non-profit organization dedicated to the professional and personal advancement of women in business in the Portland, Oregon greater metro area. Membership includes women from all industries and at all stages of professional development, from recent graduates and new business owners to long-time entrepreneurs and experienced corporate officers.
