Dr. Susan Marcus, interim chair, MBA in Health Care Management, will speak at a Portland Female Executives event at The Governor Hotel on June 18, 2013.
Marcus' talk is entitled Making the Most of the Life Cycle of You. Through stories, humor and some concrete examples of results, she shares insight into a "life cycle" that has been anything but traditional, with plenty of barriers, yet full of opportunity and achievement.
Susan Marcus, Ph.D. has more than 20 years of experience in executive level management, operations and strategic business development for public, private and non-profit organizations in several industry sectors including retail, finance and higher education. She has launched several businesses and most recently developed a venue to provide low-cost, supportive space for first-time entrepreneurs. She joined Marylhurst in 2009 as part of the course design team for the MBA in Sustainable Business program. Currently, she serves as interim chair for the new MBA in Health Care Management.
