Patrick Balducci, sustainable business faculty, will speak on energy storage at a
Northwest Environmental Business Council event on
June 26, 2013.
Balducci will deliver a talk titled Energy Storage Market Assessment. His presentation outlines the findings of a recently completed national assessment on energy storage, including the future balancing requirements necessary to accommodate wind generation that would meet a 20% nationwide target, the most cost-effective technology options for providing balancing services today and in 2020, and the market size for energy storage along with cost targets for specific applications and regions.
