Interior design alum Mike Sauer will co-present on the topic of environmental graphic design, a Portland Design Week event, on October 7, 2013.
What is EGD Today? is a retrospective of environmental graphic design including prominent designers and projects. EGD embraces many design disciplines including graphic, architectural, interior, landscape and industrial design—all related to the visual aspects of wayfinding, communicating identity and shaping the idea of place.
Sauer will be joined by his colleague at Anderson Krygier, Inc., Elizabeth Anderson, as well as Kathy Fry and Liz Talley of Mayer/Reed.
The event is sponsored by the Society for Environmental Graphic Design, a global community of people working at the intersection of communication design and the built environment.
Mike Sauer earned a BFA in Interior Design at Marylhurst University. He is a principal at Anderson Krygier, Inc., experts in wayfinding, identity and interpretive design.
