Perrin Kerns' Film Screened in San Francisco

Perrin Kerns' latest film will be shown at SF Shorts: San Francisco International Festival of Short Films on October 11, 2013.

Looking for Mom in Dad's Closet documents a woman's journey towards the truth about her father, her parents' marriage, and how a family can find love, acceptance and ultimately truth through necessary lies.

Dr. Perrin Kerns is a faculty member in the Department of English Literature & Writing. Her areas of expertise include modernism, feminist theory, creative nonfiction and digital storytelling. She has received national recognition for her documentary Between Sasquatch and Superman: Living with Down Syndrome.
