Perrin Kerns' Film Screened in San Francisco

Perrin Kerns' latest film will be shown at SF Shorts: San Francisco International Festival of Short Films on October 11, 2013.

Looking for Mom in Dad's Closet documents a woman's journey towards the truth about her father, her parents' marriage, and how a family can find love, acceptance and ultimately truth through necessary lies.

Dr. Perrin Kerns is a faculty member in the Department of English. Her areas of expertise include modernism, feminist theory, creative nonfiction and digital storytelling. She has received national recognition for her documentary Between Sasquatch and Superman: Living with Down Syndrome.
