An Interdisciplinary Sustainability Program
Those committed to interdisciplinary and integrative learning believe that solutions to 21st century issues and problems are necessarily complex and require processes that embrace complexity. Marylhurst University's BA in Interdisciplinary Studies houses a concentration in sustainability studies that combines perspectives from environmental science, business, communication studies, human science, cultural studies, philosophy, literature and religious studies, along with a focused application of the student's own choosing.
Open Mic: Artistic Responses to Scientific Themes
This open mike session explored artistic forms for scientific insights. Attendees shared poems, personal essays, short videos, images and other creative responses to scientific themes.
