Jay Ponteri directs the undergraduate creative writing program at Marylhurst University and show:tell, The Workshop for Teen Writers & Artists. He recently published Wedlocked, a highly acclaimed memoir.

Natalie Serber teaches in the Department of English. Her 2012 book, Shout Her Lovely Name, was featured in The New York Times Sunday Book Review and Oprah's List.
