Reda Hicks, sustainable business alum, was named Military Spouse of the Year for the Army branch in February 2014.
Reda Hicks is an Army spouse and mom of one. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the California Bar, the New York State Bar Association, and will soon be sworn into the Washington State Bar. The 2014 Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year, now in its seventh year, honors military spouses from all branches of service and all ranks. The MSOY award solicits nominations from the military community as well as all Americans in the late fall. Three distinct phases of voting follow, culminating in the announcement of the Military Spouse of the Year at an annual awards luncheon in Washington, D.C. in early May.
Reda Hicks earned an MBA in Sustainable Business from Marylhurst University in 2012. In 2013, the American Bar Association's Section of Environment, Energy and Resources honored Reda with the Distinguished Environmental Advocate Award for her contribution to environmental law and her community.
