Two conferences focusing on trends and technology in bioscience, OregonBio 2014 and the Medical Electronics Symposium, will be held on the Marylhurst campus in September 2014.
The theme for OregonBio 2014 is An Industry Inflection Point. This three-day event will feature internationally known guest speakers from companies such as 23andme, the Fogarty Institute for Innovation, Translational Genomic Institute, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories and the BioDesign Institute and showcase local innovation stories, emerging translational therapy investment opportunities and national bioscience trends.
Medical Electronics Symposium is an international event organized by the Surface Mount Technology Association, International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative, MicroElectronics Packaging and Test Engineering Council and OregonBio. The two-day symposium will focus on advances in electronic technologies and advanced manufacturing, specifically targeting medical and bioscience applications.
