Marylhurst is led by a Board of Trustees and is currently under the direction of President Melody Rose who is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the university, and reports directly to the Board of Trustees.
Marylhurst University was founded in 1893 by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. We are Oregon’s oldest Catholic university, and we were the first liberal arts college for women established in the Northwest.
