Kyle Dittmer Featured in OPB Documentary
Science faculty member Kyle Dittmer is featured in a documentary titled Forecast: Cloudy airing on Oregon Public Broadcasting television in October.
Kyle Dittmer is a hydrologist - meteorologist employed with the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission Hydro Program. He is president of the American Meteorological Society's Oregon chapter. Dittmer teaches natural science and environmental science courses at Marylhurst University.
Forecast: Cloudy, a documentary about Oregon weather, forecasters and climate change, initally airs on Thursday, October 25, at 9:00 pm on Channel 10. The program examines what the public is hearing from TV meteorologists and state climatologists in the Northwest and across the nation, and how these frontline players are reacting to the latest conclusions about climate change.
