The Renaissance Campaign, Marylhurst University's $20 million capital campaign, will conclude with a Buy a Brick fundraising endeavor.
More than 10,000 bricks will be available for naming, at $100 a brick; benches will be named for $500 each and historical lampposts will be $2,500.
This opportunity will preserve the rich heritage of Marylhurst by revisiting a memorable moment in its history, when in the midst of the depression of 1929, school-aged children sold bricks to build the college's first buildings. Unlike the 1929 campaign, donations will not build Marylhurst University from the ground up, but will prepare the University to meet the critical needs of future generations of students.
