Going, Going, Going tells the story of aspiring auctioneer Mark Kuhn and how he learns his craft. Rural life is at the heart of the livestock autioneer's heritage and chosen profession. Going, Going, Going shows how the auctioneer pursuing this career fares among the shifting sands of today's disappearing rural world.

Going, Goinig Going received awards at the 1990 National Educational Film and Video Festival and the Northwest Film and Video Festival. The film was featured on the national PBS program American Pie.

Dr. Deborah Cohen is an interdisciplinary artist/educator with accomplishments in the moving image arts, performing arts, and learning sciences. She has written, directed and produced both award winning traditional television and new media for educational settings. Going, Going, Going won awards in the 1990 National Educational Film and Video Festival and the Northwest Film and Video Festival and was featured on the national PBS program American Pie.

Cohen's roots reside in the performing arts. She spent her early years as an experimental theater director and playwright, co-founding companies in Portland, Oregon and Baltimore, Maryland. She taught at the Antioch Theatre Project and was the Director of Documentation for the International New Theatre Festival.

Cohen is currently Associate Faculty at Marylhurst University where she oversees Online Quality for the Business Programs and teaches Entrepreneurship and Project Management. As a successful educational project manager and instructional designer for over 20 years, she has led numerous educational initiatives for clients including corporations, museums and colleges.

In addition to being an educational media designer and developer, Dr. Cohen is also a media scholar. She was the lead American researcher for a study of American online learning commissioned by a consortium of French colleges and the French government. The major focus of her recent doctoral work in Computing Technology and Education was the efficacy of Internet-delivered media and tools. She has been recognized for her research through publication in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international conferences.
