Traveling Exhibition from The Art Gym Named Top 20ArtNet named Women's Work one of the Top 20 exhibitions nationwide. Women's Work is a traveling exhibition organized by Terri Hopkins, director of The Art Gym at Marylhurst University, with John Olbrantz, director of the Hallie Ford Museum at Willamette University. The Art Gym and the Hallie Ford Museum presented it before it began its national tour. Collectively, the 56 prints that comprise Women's Work: Contemporary Women Printmakers from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and his Family Foundation testify to the innovative breadth and variety of printmaking approaches taken by women since the early 1970s. Women's Work is on display at the San Jose Museum of Art through August 16, 2009. | |||||||
