David DeMarkey Named Business Director for City View

To meet the growth that City View Charter School is anticipating, its new board of directors has reorganized its administration.
To meet that challenge, the board has divided the responsibilities of the executive director between two positions. "The executive director will retain direct responsibility for the educational program and overall responsibility for City View," said board president, Mik Sander.
"The business director, which is a new position for the school, will be responsible for all of the administrative functions including marketing, fundraising, accounting, facilities maintenance and human resources management," Sander said. "This division is meant to reflect the differences in skill sets needed to successfully manage the school."
To handle the administrative functions, the board recruited a former management consultant, David DeMarkey. As a consultant, DeMarkey specialized in the needs of growing organizations and small businesses. He has a master's degree in management from Marylhurst University.
