President EmeritaNancy Wilgenbusch, Ph.D.Nancy Wilgenbusch, Ph.D., served as President of Marylhurst University from 1984 to 2008. She was succeeded by Judith Johansen, J.D., on July 1, 2008. She led the University through a period of unprecedented financial stability and curriculum development. In addition to serving the University for almost a quarter century, she also served the community through membership on many not for profit and corporate boards. The commmunity organizations she was involved with included Goodwill Industries, Clackamas Women's Services, Richmond Health Clinic, Marysville School, Caldera and Medical Teams International. Her corporate board experience is considerable as well, having served on the boards of Mutual of Omaha Fund Management, PacificCorp, Cascade Corporation, West Coast Bank, Oregon Tax Free Trust Fund, ScottishPower and Powercor. Additionally, she served on the Ethics Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a former chairperson of the Portland Branch of the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank. She also served 10 years on the Port of Portland board. Dr. Wilgenbusch, in her retirement from Marylhurst University, remains active in many of these organizations. Dr. Wilgenbusch holds a Ph.D. in education, specializing in community and human resources, from the University of Nebraska. She received her master's degree from Texas Women's University and her baccalaureate degree, magna cum laude, from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. | |||||||
