About
Prior to coming to Marylhurst, Christine was the Director of Education for an arts and education non-profit for 14 years. She trained fine and performing artists and K-12 classroom teachers statewide about integrating the arts into education. She also co-developed a social studies curriculum, Different Was of Knowing, at the Galef Institute in Los Angeles where she trained teachers in the states of CA, OR, WA and MS. She taught at California State University for 12 years, as well as Arizona State and Loyola Marymount universities. Her journey as an educator began by teaching high school English and Theatre in Southern California.
