Magdalena Pauna, interior design alum, was selected to exhibit an image in The Interiors Collection, part the annual Exposure Award hosted by SeeMe, at the Louvre in Paris in July 2015.

His primary flute teachers were Merrill Jordan of the SF Symphony, Edna Comerchero
at CSU, Sacramento, Sid Zeitlin of the Seattle and Minnesota Orchestras, Felix Skowronek
at the University of Washington, and Albert Tipon at the Aspen Music Festival; he
also has participated in master classes and summer workshops with Marcel Moyse, Julius
Baker, Michel Debost, Geoffrey Gilbert, Betty Mather, and Chris Norman.
Jerry Pritchard came to Oregon after 21 years as Professor of Music and Associate Provost/Vice President for Academic Programs at CSU, San Bernardino. Although a full-time administrator, he continued to perform recitals and teach every term in a variety of areas of music as well as private flute lessons. While at CSUSB, he also was involved in international education and developed exchange programs with universities in China, Germany, Korea, and Thailand and participated in a German Fulbright program for international educators.
Previously he taught flute, saxophone, music history, and woodwind methods as well as directed the Symphonic Band at the University of Northern Iowa. After service as chair of the instrumental music department of the UNI School of Music and then as Director of the University Honors and Interdisciplinary Studies programs, he subsequently worked for the Texas Higher Education System Coordinating Board. In this role, he was involved with program reviews, analytical and policies studies, and curriculum development work with 37 Texas universities. (Early in his career, he taught Jr. High band and orchestra as well as 8th grade mathematics.)
Dr. Pritchard currently performs with the Oregon Proarte Chamber Orchestra, the Sunnyside Orchestra and the Beaverton Symphony. He is on the Editorial Board of the National Flute Association's Flutist Quarterly and has written a number of articles on flute literature and pedagogy as well as doing numerous reviews of newly published flute music and recordings. Pritchard is also on the boards of the Greater Portland Flute Society, the Music in Small Spaces chamber music series; and recently was appointed to the Clackamas County Arts Alliance's Advisory Council.
