About

Tamara Still is a former faculty member at Seattle Pacific University where she taught organ and in the music theory curriculum, and directed the Women's Choir.

She has played concerts in England, Holland and Canada and at major music festivals in the United States, and her recitals have received enthusiastic reviews here and abroad.

Tamara presents lecture recitals on such topics as the North German School and 20th-century Mechanical Organs in the United States. She has more than 20 years of experience working with children in school, conservatory and church music programs.

Tamara is music associate at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland. She is a member of the committee that developed the national collaborative curriculum project PipeWorks, which is sponsored by the American Guild of Organists.

Awards

Still has received numerous scholarships and performance awards

She has received grants for a recording project and travel funds to continue her research on mechanical organs
