About
Lance Pynes has taught in the Portland Metro area for twenty years in courses as
varied as Art History, Painting, Basic Design, and Drawing. He holds several degrees
in Art and Art History and has exhibited locally and nationally. His work often plays
with the elements of representation, abstraction, and non-representation in the development
of 2-D images. Currently he is developing summer classes that would feature a combination
Art History/Studio experience in Collage, Sitework, and the discourse between Painting
and Photography.
