Interior Design Students Receive Awards
Abigail Marlatt and Katherine Park, students in the interior design program, received top awards in a statewide student design competition in May 2013.
Portland is a mecca for design professionals, do-it-yourselfers, and entrepreneurs and is rich with creative energy. There is a palpable quality of design, thought, craft and care throughout the city and the region's buildings and spaces. The Marylhurst University interior design program is embedded in this design-rich environment.
Portland is our living classroom. Students and instructors work directly with experts and craftspeople in various fields. We explore, analyze, document and internalize well-designed spaces. We live design.
