About

Torey Browne's academic interests include human communication, specifically intercultural communication, and how it relates to social justice issues — on both local and global scales. Her current research focuses on informal communication in the Polynesia speech community with an emphasis on social justice concerns and exploring both critical theory and participatory research methods.
