Isabelle Freda received her Ph.D. in Cinema Studies from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. Her research and writing engages issues of screen culture as it intersects with politics; the presidential campaign and the mass media and the representation of nature in film and television, among other topics. She is currently completing a manuscript on the Presidential Campaign Film and Cold War Aesthetics under consideration by Columbia University Press.
