Jeffrey Nicholas is an associate professor of philosophy at Mount Angel Seminary (Oregon). Among his publications are the article "Bowling Our Way out of Nihilism" in The Big Lebowski and Philosophy (2012) and his most recent work, Reason, Tradition, and the Good, published by the University of Notre Dame Press (2012). He also edited the book, Dune and Philosophy (2011).
Aside from pop culture, his interests include human nature, ethics and cultural theory. He also maintains a blog on social justice.
