Meg Roland Presents at Medieval Studies Conference
Dr. Meg Roland, chair of the English literature & writing department, will discuss blogging about medieval topics at the International Congress on Medieval Studies in May 2013.

The Department of English Literature & Writing at Marylhurst offers a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature & Writing. The degree can be completed on campus or through a combination of on-campus and online classes.
In January 2013, we launched a completely online bachelor's degree in English literature and new media. This degree program is designed to allow a cohort of students to study and progress together, and integrates literary studies with digital technologies.
The department showcases the literary arts in other important ways. Each year, we sponsor show:tell, a two-week workshop for high-school students looking to receive college-level instruction in creative writing and contemporary arts.
We also sponsor the annual Marylhurst Reading Series, which brings prominent authors to campus to read from their work and engage with students.
