Auditions for fall 2013 enrollment are in progress.  Our first  auditions were held on February 23, 2013.  It is not too late to apply for fall 2013 enrollment.  An additional day of auditions is scheduled for the following day:

Audition dates for fall 2013 entrance

Audition: Saturday,  May 18, 2013, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00  p.m.
Completed Application deadline: Monday, April 22, 2013

Recorded auditions will be reviewed on Saturday, May 18, 2013

Recordings submission deadline: Friday, May 10, 2013

When will I be notified of my audition time?

The Department of Music reviews applications the week after the application deadline, and then schedules auditions with qualified candidates. If you are selected, you'll be asked to audition at a specific time on the published audition date. Performance auditions are scheduled by performance area. Other assessments and interviews are scheduled around the performance audition. Please set aside the whole day in order to participate in the entire process. Those not invited to audition will be notified.

Am I accepted?

The music faculty will make admissions recommendations after the February auditions and assessments/interviews. The department will inform the Office of Admissions of these recommendations, and will inform candidates by mail. Applicants must meet all university requirements before we offer an official acceptance. Students who submit recordings will only be granted a provisional acceptance until other assessments and interviews are completed.
