Marylhurst Community Orchestra

The Marylhurst Community Orchestra is a 65-piece orchestra comprised of students and community members. It is led by Lajos Balogh, who also conducts Portland Festival Orchestra and is Conductor Emeritus of the Metropolitan Youth Symphony.

The Marylhurst Community Orchestra performs four concerts each year:

Spring Pops Concert
Fall Classical Concert
Christmas Pops Concert
Winter Classical Concert

In addition, the annual Concerto Sunday event gives music students the opportunity to perform a solo with a live orchestra.
