Fay Putnam is the founder of Avoque, a solo vocal quartet that performed between 2004 and 2006. She founded 3 Mezzos, a trio that performed for 10 years, specializing in repertoire of the Big Band Era and the Dominion Trio, a trio of mezzo-soprano, clarinet and piano that specialized in 20th century music. In addition, she founded a concert series in Belgium and CANTABILE, a professional vocal quartet supported by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation between 1982 and 1993.
