Eileen Mejia is a communication specialist, teacher trainer, and the founding artistic director for a residential performance arts camp for the Eliot Institute in Washington. Her professional associations include the International Listening Association and Willamette Writers Guild. Utility of Trust, her book about trust and inclusion is nearing completion. Eileen is pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership at George Fox University.

At Marylhurst, Eileen is co-chair of the Diversity Committee, and a former co-chair of the Faculty Development and Adjunct Faculty Development committees. She is a regular presenter at faculty roundtables and orientations. In 2010, she directed a production of Translations by Friel with a cast of Marylhurst students, staff and faculty.
