Teddy Gardner, M.Ed., PCC is a certified Professional Coach, Academic Professor and Facilitator whose expertise with mindfulness based practices are woven into all aspects of her business, Partnership-Works. When providing leadership development coaching, teaching or facilitating resiliency skill building, mindfulness practices are core to accelerating well-being in Teddy's clients. She has worked in the corporate arena doing leadership training with teams and for a non-profit organization called, Awakening Life, that provides retreats for teaching mindfulness and contemplative practices for transforming consciousness. Her joy is in creating safe space for inspiring people to grow in performing with excellence. Clients are primarily business entrepreneurs including academic staff, physicians, directors and managers, some of who are associated with companies such as, Puget Sound Energy and Nike.
Teddy has a masters degree in education from George Washington University, Washington, DC and brings years of experience as a certified rehabilitation counselor, program manager, board member and facilitator to her coaching. She completed her coach training with Academy for Coach Training (ACT), Seattle, WA and is also a member of the International Coaching Federation. With a background in rehabilitation counseling and over 10 years facilitating mindfulness-based practices, Teddy brings a diverse depth of experience to her work. She is a facilitator for a Wellness and Resiliency Program being piloted for Oregon State Department of Corrections (DOC) Staff, teaching Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), (2013 2014). She is also currently expanding her career through training with the National Institute for Whole Health (NIWH) becoming certified as a Whole Health Educator and working with Providence Hospital as part of their Mindful Medicine Team, coordinating retreats for health professionals.
