Licensed elementary teachers can obtain middle-level authorizations through the Department of Education at Marylhurst.

Core content areas include:

  • Social Studies
  • Math
  • Science
  • Language Arts

Required courses:

Adolescent Development

Non-core content areas include:

  • Foreign Language
  • Music
  • Art

Total for authorizations: 7-9 credits
