Throughout his academic career, Bill Noonan has pursued the study of Religion and Psychology in attempt to understand the role myth, symbol and ritual play in the human construction of meaning. An example is his Ph.D. dissertation. where he developed a method of story making that facilitates meaning for people with chronic or life-threatening illness.
From 1988 to 1996, he worked with an innovative health care program, Planetree. He designed and implemented art programs for hospitalized patients in order to aid the healing process.
Bill is also an educator and consultant with an international practice that includes many leading learning organizations. His practice includes facilitating, conducting workshops and designing Web-based learning programs. He has published extensively on human resources and organizational topics; Bill is the author of the book, Discussing the Undiscussable.
