About

Greg Dardis is the Interim Chair of the Department of Science, Religion and Interdisciplinary Studies at Marylhurst University. He has been teaching at Marylhurst since 2003, primarily in the areas of environmental science and human anatomy and online classes in science and society. He is also an adjunct at Portland State University teaching classes in leadership, sustainability education, political ecology, agrarianism and local food systems.

Greg received a BA in Biology from the University of Portland with post-baccalaureate work at Portland State University. He received an MS in Education at PSU in the Leadership for Ecological and Cultural Learning program where his emphasis was on developing garden-based science curricula at the middle school level.

Greg is also a board member of the Columbia Land Trust, an organization devoted to conserving habitat, farm and forestlands in the lower Columbia Basin. He sits on the City of Portland, Bureau of Environmental Services Task Force and has been long-time member of the Northwest Aquatic and Marine Educators Association.
