Originally from Chicago, Chris trekked westward for college -- and has stayed ever since. He received his BS in Biology from Pacific University and Master's of Education from Portland State University. Chris has worked in college and university admissions for 15 years and understands the difference that an admissions counselor can make.  His admissions counselor was part of his wedding party!  More than any other aspect about admissions, Chris likes helping individuals towards the rewarding goal of education.

Favorite thing about Portland: The rain, great food and drink scene, the attention to buying local.

Favorite thing about Marylhurst: The true commitment that the staff and faculty have for the students. They believe so much in the mission of the university and want to help students. It's exciting to be in a place where everyone is on the same page.
