Nearly all Marylhurst students – more than 90 percent – are transfer students.
Whether you are currently taking coursework at a regionally accredited college or
university, or you started working toward a degree years ago, we can help you through
the process of transferring to Marylhurst to complete your bachelor's degree.
Our knowledgeable admissions advisers will make sure you get the maximum possible
benefit from your previous academic work.
We can help you with:
Block transfers
If you have earned your Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree, you'll be granted
junior standing for purposes of financial aid. You will still need to complete all
major and remaining general education requirements.
Course-by-course credit transfers
We'll look at each class you've taken to determine which courses will transfer into
your preferred major, and how many credits you have left to earn at Marylhurst. We
also can help you with transferring credits from international institutions. Get a free transfer evaluation.
Program transfers
Some of our programs have distinct transfer and enrollment requirements. We'll show
you how your past credits will place in a specific program. View program transfer agreements.
Credit for prior learning
Your college-level learning gained outside the traditional classroom may qualify for
Marylhurst credit. Learn more.
