Whether to see the sights or serve others, a trip with Marylhurst offers alumni the opportunity to learn more about our world with members of the Marylhurst community. All trips are led by Marylhurst faculty or staff.


September in London & Rome

Trip details

This travel opportunity, focused on literature and art, will offer travelers the change to read literature that engages with the role of London & Rome in the imagination of western civilization and immersion in the living art — paintings, sculpture and architecture. Students can enroll in corresponding classes and earn up to 6 credits.

Mission Trip - Jonestown, Mississippi

This trip canceled due to low enrollment. It is scheduled for 2014 - check back for dates.

Join the Sisters of the Holy Names in Jonestown, Mississippi, one of the poorest communities in the United States, where the Sisters have served for more than 25 years. Assist their four ministry sites by gardening, house painting, tutoring and visiting with the elderly. Students may take this trip as a 3 credit course.
