Marylhurst University campus
Free and open to the public. Free parking.
ArtBurst NorthWest, a fine arts and crafts festival at Marylhurst University, partnered for the first time with Marylhurst University to present the 2013 annual outdoor community arts festival. ArtBurst Northwest, formerly the West Linn Fine Arts Festival, returns to Marylhurst in 2014.
ArtBurst NorthWest welcomes art lovers of all ages. The festival will feature more than 100 artists exhibiting high-end fine art in painting, drawing, photography, wood, metal, fiber, glass, ceramic, jewelry, garden art, and mixed media.
A youth art show booth is being planned, and there will be a food court with shaded seating.
Strolling musicians will wander the artist area, and there will also be community booths for local groups to share information about their project or mission.
There will be off-site parking available with a shuttle service as parking on-campus is limited.
MU Staff, Faculty and Students: Please be aware that while there will be off-site parking for this event with a shuttle service, our campus will fill up. Furthermore, St. Anne's parking lot will be completely blocked off from Friday (for artist check-in) through Sunday (for the Food Court). To keep the intrusion to a minimum, we will have the Clark Commons parking lot and the Education Hall parking lot reserved and marked for Staff, Faculty and Students.
