Poet Dorothea Lasky will read from her most recent book Thunderbird.
The Marylhurst Reading Series brings an incredible group of emerging and acclaimed writers and thinkers to Marylhurst University. The writers share their love of language and unique insights into contemporary culture. All readings are open and free to the public.
The series is sponsored by Marylhurst's English Literature and Writing program and supported by the Thomas Binford Endowment Fund for Writing.
We are presently preparing our full 2013-14 reading series. Check back in the fall for information on all the writers and poets who be joining us for the 2013-14 series.
