Marylhurst Reading Series: Poet Dorothea Lasky

Poet Dorothea Lasky will read from her most recent book, Thunderbird (Wave Books).

Lasky is the author of two other full-length collections of poetry: Black Life (Wave Books, 2010), and AWE (Wave Books, 2007). She also co-edited Open The Door: How to Excite Young People About Poetry (McSweeney's, 2013).

Currently, Dorothea Lasky is an Assistant Professor of Poetry at Columbia University's School of the Arts and lives in New York City.

The Marylhurst Reading Series is sponsored by Marylhurst's English Literature and Writing program and supported by the Thomas Binford Endowment Fund for Writing.
