Marylhurst University Day at Mary's Woods

Marylhurst University has enjoyed a partnership with its neighbors at Mary's Woods for nearly ten years. As part of the partnership, Marylhurst and Mary's Woods co-sponsor a variety of events during the year, including Music in the Woods. Events are open to the general public.

Every second Tuesday of the month is Marylhurst Day at Mary's Woods, with the exception of August. Free and open to the public.

10 am, Auditorium, Mary's Woods
Dr. Meg Roland,Chair, Department of English , brings students to present on their research, conducted during an MU study abroad, about the Roman wall that surrounds the city of London. The resulting essay from this research has been accepted by the Map of Early Modern London online project hosted by the University of Victoria and will appear online in late February..

Blake Shell, the Eichholz Director and Curator of The Art Gym at Marylhurst University, discusses and from this distance one might never imagine that it is alive, the Jan. 12-March 5 group exhibition featuring 10 artists of the Pacific Northwest working with abstraction in painting.
