Marylhurst University Day at Mary's Woods

Marylhurst University has enjoyed a partnership with its neighbors at Mary's Woods for nearly ten years. As part of the partnership, Marylhurst and Mary's Woods co-sponsor a variety of events during the year, including Music in the Woods. Events are open to the general public.

Every second Tuesday of the month is Marylhurst Day at Mary's Woods, with the exception of August. Free and open to the public.

Morning coffee, 10-11 am. Dr. Justin Smith, Director of Choral Activities, will share about the Marylhurst choirs and their recent performance at Carnegie Hall.

Afternoon session, 2:30-3:30 pm, "How Improvisation Play Grows Brain Health and Happiness" With Eileen Mejia, faculty, Department of Communication Studies.

April 14, 2015

Morning coffee, 10-11 am. Vincent Fritzsche, director of the Center for Professional Development, will discuss professional development efforts and opportunities for community-based education at Marylhurst University.

Afternoon session, 2:30-3:30 pm. Nancy Hiss, director of the Interior Design program, will talk Marylhurst's program in interior design and dialog with participants about what's on their minds about interior design when moving into a smaller living space.
