Textbook Returns
The Bookstore is happy to accept textbook returns that adhere to the following guidelines:
- The Bookstore cannot accept returns without original cash register receipt.
- New books must be returned in new condition.
- Books cannot be returned or refunded after the class has ended for the term.
- The Bookstore will post the last day for returns at each term.
- Textbooks purchased after last-day-to-return cannot be returned for a refund. Exception: Classes that start later in the term.
Refunds for late-starting classes:
- Students have through the first day of class to return books.
- Books cannot be returned after the class has ended for the term; this includes weekend and short-term classes. - Textbooks purchased before textbook sales officially opens for the term are not eligible for a refund.
- For cancelled classes, books need to be returned by the first day that class would have started.
- Books, or package of books, that are shrinkwrapped or labeled "Not returnable if opened" are NOT returnable if opened.
- Custom coursepacks are NOT returnable.
- Damaged/defective books will be replaced. However, replacement books may have to be special ordered.
